Maison Carlton recently visited Tai Kwun, the Centre for Heritage and Arts. It comprises three declared monuments — the former Central Police Station, Central Magistracy and Victoria Prison. Maison Carlton joined the guide tour, learnt about the history of Hong Kong judiciary. We were impressive to the contrasting architectural features and fine design details of Tai Kwun. Besides, we also joined a terrarium workshop, experiencing a combination of art and nature and learning to build a mini eco-system, gain practical gardening skills and caring tips.
As a Company headquartered in Hong Kong, Maison Carlton believed that the history and culture in Hong Kong is related to the economic development. By learning from heritage and arts, we are further familiar with this place, which stimulate our thinking and working hard on being a part of the history in Hong Kong.
